My name is Mikayla Johnson. Daughter of a multi-craft super hobbyist, I understand the fun that can come from turning your creative ideas into reality. I don't believe in selling things just to clutter your home and empty your wallet. I want to give you the freedom to personalize everything, give the perfect gift, or just have the decor you want without the extreme price tag. I believe in true customizability- I don't carry an inventory- I make things to order and promise an accurate quote before it's made. If there's an odd-project that you need special-made, this is your place!
Run from my home, this business is more about having fun and creating things than making a large profit. Let's see where our creativity takes us!
Policies
Due to the custom nature of this business, with each project being made-to-order, our quality control is top-notch. If you notice a defect or if there is a failure in the product within 30 days of the delivery/pickup date (not including normal wear and tear) please contact us with pictures and we will be happy to resolve the issue. Because each order is custom made for you, there will be no refunds except under extenuating circumstances.
We reserve the right to refuse your business for any reason, including but not limited to: lack of tools/access to materials needed for the project, lack of knowledge to make project, abuse of the replacement policy, etc. If we don't have what you need, we'll be sure to inform you.
You declare by placing an order that any design you submit is your own work (or is open source) and is not trademarked or copyrighted by anyone other than yourself; and you have done the research to ensure such. If it is not your intellectual property you must have and provide written permission to use their property for the purpose of us making and selling you that item.
We offer two delivery options: Local pickup (if you live close enough) or Shipping via USPS. We will include shipping costs in your quote for each project, and using USPS allows us to have fair prices to ship anywhere in the US. If you wish to use local pickup, please let us know in your initial contact and we will send you an address when your product is ready. Since this is an in-home business, if you wish for a public meeting place, please specify and we'll be happy to accommodate you. Missed appointments for pickup may be subject to a $5 inconvenience fee before setting a new appointment. There will be no refunds on orders not picked up due to the customer's negligence.
We have three options for payment: PayPal (paypal.me/customtreasuresUT), Venmo (@CustomTreasuresUT), and cash (local pickup orders under $30 only). If you do not qualify for cash payment, payment must be received before the order will be processed. Cash payments may be made at time of pickup.
As of this time, our business is small enough that we are not charging sales tax. Please be aware of this for your own tax purposes. This may change in the future without warning.
